Gamification
Whoo's Money, completed December 2023, demonstrates proper gamification design and implementation by the creation of a gamified experience through the creation of a prototype app called Whoo's Money. Whoo's Money is a gamified experience utilizing woodland creature characters aimed at actively engaging children in learning the value of saving money toward a goal. Objectives included describing why saving money and the creation of a gamified experience is important and creating various components, including a storyboard, app components, and characters to bring the gamified experience to life. I accomplished this project by using Proto.io to build screens within the app, utilizing Canva, FreePik, Adobe, and PowerPoint to edit images for the prototype, and utilizing PowerPoint for project organization and showcase. While Whoo's Money is only a prototype and has not come fully into fruition, I hope to continue working with experts to make this gamified experience into reality one day.
