Online Course Design Training is an instructional design project, completed May 2024, which assisted me in learning the intricacies of high quality course design. I was able to implement adult learning principles and methodologies along with various technology and design features and elements to create an engaging and creative high quality online course. Objectives of the project included providing incoming/current faculty/staff knowledge and guidance of UNA on how to design a high quality course, identifying components needed for high quality course design, implementing elements/components needed for high quality course design, and successfully designing a high quality online course. I was able to complete the goal of this project, to learn to effectively design a high quality course utilizing PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Canva, Canvas, and other technologies to complete this project.
